With over 20 years of design experience, Norma Perez is an interior designer focused on high-end residential projects.

Her projects include bespoke residential interiors and exteriors in La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, and Solana Beach. She’s completed projects for celebrity clients and other luxury residences in NYC, the Tri-State area as well as in Pennsylvania.

Custom millwork and furniture for Plum Sykes’ residence, a novelist and fashion journalist.

Custom furniture for Badgley Mischka’s Headquarters offices.

One of her career highlights includes an Hermes Paris project on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and custom millwork commissioned exclusively by Hermes.

Notable Projects

Her experience encompasses collaborations on international 5-star hospitality projects such as The Four Seasons, The Rosewood Hotels, The Waldorf Astoria and Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills. High-profile concerted projects: The Ford Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria; Carmen Marc Valvo at Bloomingdale’s in NYC; New York Fashion Week interiors and exteriors in association with Elle Decor and SICIS.

Other joint efforts have included AIG, Arch Insurance, AWAC, Bank of America, Bank of China, Citibank, CNN, CBS, ESPN, HGTV, ING, TD Bank, UBS, and the United Way.

Through her lived experience and immersive travel, Norma brings international and bicoastal expertise to her hometown, southern California, Design Shift, and to YOU.

Her design journey began in Los Angeles before moving to NYC for premier training. She obtained her LEED certification in New York, and worked on iconic, global, and luxury commercial, and high-end residential projects.

She has degrees from two prestigious institutions, the New York School of Interior Design, a top 5 design school, and UCLA.
